I like solving practical problems with AI.

  • Work and background: I’m a Member of Technical Staff, Machine Learning Engineer (MLE) at Cohere (from June 2025). I previously worked as a MLE at Hugging Face, as a NLP & data science consultant, and as a researcher. I have a background in computational social sciences. See the CV section for details.

  • PhD: I learnt a lot about transfer learning and the intersection between Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computational Social Sciences (CSS) during my PhD. See the PhD section for details on my research.

  • Views on the impact of AI: I’m excited about the amazing solutions AI can/will bring to real-world problems. I’m also afraid of the risks AI can/will pose, both in the short- and in the long-term. I think that polarizing narratives like “doomers vs. accelerationists”, fueled by social media and groupthink, are unhelpful.
